Dr. Livinus Nosike is an accomplished expert in the Exploration and Production industry, with over two decades of experience in subsurface evaluation, field development, and digital geoscience innovation. He holds a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka; dual master’s degrees in Petroleum Engineering and Reservoir Geophysics from the University of Pau and Pays de l’Adour (UPPA), France; and a Ph.D. in Tectonics and Petroleum Geology from the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis, France. Dr. Nosike began his career with TotalEnergies at the Jean Feger Scientific and Technical Centre (CSTJF) in France, working across exploration and production projects in the UK, Norway/North Sea, East Africa, and Nigeria. His technical expertise spans geopressure assessment, seal integrity analysis, field optimization, and reservoir management, integrating tectonic evolution and geomechanics into practical E&P solutions. He is noted for applying emerging technologies and digital innovation to enhance petroleum exploration and production workflows.

On returning to Nigeria, he founded IES Oil and Gas (iESog) and Elvee Energy Training, initiatives dedicated to equipping young geoscientist and engineers with practical skills in AI/ML, automation, robotics and digital geoscience applications for the energy sector. He currently serves as Managing Consultant of Integrated Elvee Services Ltd, leading projects in fully integrated training and services. A prolific researcher, Dr. Nosike has published widely on tectonics, pressure compartmentalization, and hydrocarbon migration in the Niger Delta and Anambra Basin. His latest book, Exploration and Production Geoscience – Comprehensive Skills Acquisition for an Evolving Industry, provides an integrated guide across the petroleum value chain, from exploration to production and field optimization.
